The project Virtual Tarot transferes the mystical world of the images of the tarot game into the virtual space. The 22 major arcana / trump cards, which represent the heart of this classic of fortune telling, are expanded into 22 immersive worlds in which the player interacts intuitively via eye tracking with the meaningful symbolism of the tarot. VR is intended to exaggerate the generation of supposed answers through the tarot. Promising immersive impressions should be obtained when immersing in the virtual world without presenting any answers.
Different technologies are used to create the virtual world. Photogrammetry, 360° video recording and animation are used among others.
