Noiserail

2015
The video Noiserail is based on the documentary of a dance performance in public space, during which a dancer equipped with induction headphones moves according to the electrical fields in her immediate vicinity while simultaneously affecting her acoustic surroundings through her movements. The video deals with the generation of rhythm and tempo in sound and moving images through the editing process. The pictures and sounds are integrated rhythmically and interdependently in a specific manner. This results in a constructed rendition of the dance that stands in opposition to the performative act before the camera.
In cooperation with Tobias Zarfl
