InBetween is designed as a multi layered video installation which focuses on the exploration and expansion of the spatial depth. The use of transparent screens enables the two projections to be superimposed, so that the individual video levels begin to interact with one another. The highly processed images create together with the acoustic level a dream-like atmosphere. These is amplified by the vague look into the spatial depth that is seen through the dark parts of the high-contrast video. The images tilt into one another and merge the two projections. From this a dynamic is formed, which gives the installation an almost physical expression. In this way, InBetween shifts the filmic events into the ephemeral space between the two canvases.
